About the QR Code with Logo Generator
This tool generates QR codes with an optional custom logo in the center, entirely in your browser. Type any URL or text, pick your colors, optionally upload a logo image, and click Generate. Nothing is uploaded to a server — everything is rendered locally with JavaScript.
How it works
- Enter the URL or text you want to encode in the QR content field.
- Choose foreground and background colors. High contrast (e.g. black on white) scans best.
- Set the output size in pixels (between 128 and 512).
- Optionally upload a logo image (PNG, JPG, SVG). It will be centered and scaled to roughly 25% of the QR size with white padding for scannability.
- Click Generate, then Download to save the PNG.
Tips for scannable branded QR codes
- Keep contrast high. Dark foreground on light background scans reliably across devices.
- Don't make the logo too large. A logo bigger than 25–30% of the QR code can break scanning.
- Add quiet zone padding. The white padding around the logo helps scanners read the code underneath.
- Test before printing. Always scan with a real phone before using a QR code in production.
